I've just had my first flight here, 2.5 hours, strong and turbulent. No pictures. No GPS. This place gets very little rainfall, lots of sunlight on barren patches below. Expect a long flying year, with late afternoon sunset thermal,

dirt slope, smooth air top landing only or XC flights

inversions in the morning...bursting thermal bubbles
