verry good site with south wind in winter: a lot's of time in soaring! But be careful in the valley, the wind could be stronger.

on the top of the ski station. go by car to 'super-collet' and take the chair lift (open in winter and July-august). takeoff on the grass, near the ski tow. the dike or 'la Mirande' as you want. Go to Allevard. In Allevard go to the ski station 'le Collet d'Allevard'.

Don't go down in the little valley under the takeoff (veyton valley), you will have big difficult to go out. No landing :-) If you land at the dike, be careful: it's forbiden and dangerous to fly over the lake. The breeze could be strong near the ground and you will land in the water...
