good start for XC. You can see some flights with google earth to understand which flights you can have. look at 'view some gpd tracks of flights'.
Alti: 1240m from Annecy go to 'col de la forclaz'. here take the road to the north and park your car after a few meters. Walk 10 mn. alti: 460m Doussard, near the cross road with Annecy and Planfait. easy :-)
With NE wind it's unconfortable. If nobody fly here, you can ask yourself why. It's the busiest site in France, with St Hilaire du Touvet.
